EPIC Protect offers extended warranty plans designed to provide comprehensive coverage for your home appliances, ensuring peace of mind beyond the manufacturer's warranty. Below are the details of our 3-year and 5-year plans, including coverage specifics, exclusions, and the claims process. We have offered the following plan options:

  • 3-Year Plan: Provides protection for three years from the date of purchase, covering mechanical and electrical failures, power surges, and more.

  • 5-Year Plan: Extends coverage to five years from the date of purchase, offering the same comprehensive benefits for an additional two years.

  • Protection against breakdowns due to defects in materials or workmanship, including parts and labor.

  • Coverage for damages resulting from power surges, effective from day one of the plan.

  • Coverage includes parts such as handles, knobs, racks, wheels, shelves, and drawers.

  • Up to $300 for food spoilage caused by a covered refrigerator or freezer failure over the contract term.

  • If a covered washer or dryer isn't repaired within seven days of the initial claim, up to $50 is provided for laundry services over the contract term.

  • If the same issue requires service three times, the product qualifies for replacement or settlement upon the fourth occurrence.

  • Physical damages resulting from drops, spills, or other accidental events are not covered unless Accidental Damage from Handling (ADH) coverage is purchased.

  • Issues that don't affect the functionality of the appliance, such as scratches, dents, or discoloration.

  • Any repairs or modifications made without prior authorization from EPIC Protect.

  • Failures resulting from improper installation, maintenance, or use that doesn't comply with the manufacturer's guidelines.

  • Appliances used in commercial settings unless the plan specifically includes such coverage.

FILE A CLAIM

    • Service Plan #: Have your EPIC Protect contract number readily available.

    • Product Details: Include the make, model, and serial number of the appliance.

    • Purchase Information: Provide the purchase date and retailer details.

    • Description of the Issue: Clearly explain the problem you're experiencing.

    • Call Comeaux: Initially, check with us (if we are still open). We have your contract details on file.

    • EPIC Protect Customer Service: If we are are no longer open, you can reach out directly to EPIC Protect's customer service. They are available 24/7 at 800-452-3599. When calling, it's helpful to provide the phone number used during your purchase, as representatives can often locate your contract using this information.

    • Documentation from Purchase: Review any emails or physical mail received at the time of purchase. EPIC Protect and Comeaux typically sends a copy of the Terms & Conditions upon purchase, which includes your contract number.

      • Online:Click here or visit the Centricity Customer Portal and select EPIC Protect as your retailer.

      • Phone: Call the customer service line at 800-452-3499 to speak with a representative.

    • Assessment: A customer service representative may perform a preliminary diagnosis over the phone.

    • Service Appointment: If necessary, they'll arrange for a certified technician to inspect and repair the appliance at your location or an authorized service center.

      • You may be required to pay a service fee per claim, as specified in your contract. This fee might be collected upfront or paid directly to the technician.

  • Depending on the diagnosis, the appliance will be repaired or replaced in accordance with the terms of your plan.
